An Ordinance to amend the Places of Public Entertainment

Regulation Ordinance, 1919.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Places of Public Entertainment Regulation Amendment Ordinance, 1941.

2. The Places of Public Entertainment Regulation Ordinance, 1919, is amended by the insertion of the follow- ance No. 22 ing new section after section 5 thereof :-

THE HONG KONG GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, JANUARY 8, 1937.

PROCLAMATION.

No. 1.

A. CALDECOTT, Governor.

WHEREAS by Article 8 of the Hong Kong (Coinage) Order, 1936, a copy of which is contained in the Appendix to this Proclamation, it is provided that the said Order shall come into operation on the day on which it is proclaimed in the Colony by the Governor: NOW THEREFORE I, Sir ANDREW CALDECOTT, Knight, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM the said Order which shall come into operation on the 8th day of January, 1937.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony at Victoria, Hong Kong this 8th day of January, 1937.
